We had a street party yesterday. It was fun and a great way to get to know your neighbours. I just realized I only have pictures of kids playing... There were lots of games for the kids but as usual I got stuck at the bouncy castle again :)

Summer vacation - camping in Germany (part two)

We had the opportunity to go out for dinner, just the two of us. We went to this lovely restaurant in a renovated medieval castle. The view from the terrace was nice, the food was very good and we enjoyed the time together. We never realized it had been a year since we went out without kids so this was a much needed dinner date.

Part of the vacation we were alone at the campsite. So we went to a bobsled track to have some fun.

Amy screamed the whole way down but she loved being towed up the hill backwards. Silly girl :)

Summer vacation - camping in Germany (part one)

In August we went camping in Germany. Part of our time there was with company of family. We had fun and finally - after at least 4 years of rainy summers - we had sunny weather and 24-30 degrees (76-86 Farenheit) with an occasional 34 degrees (93 Farenheit). Amy and Tessa played nicely most of the time. The babies were exploring their territory. Heaven!
