Ok, it seems I was running ahead of myself when I said we could start straightening out the walls and start tiling. Silly me! Of course all the pipes and drains and electricity has to be done before you start tiling. So that's what Guillaume and his father have been working on the last couple of days. They just keep on working in a steady pace. They are my heroes!


Guillaume also made a new seperate electricity line and water supply to the attic and installed the washing machine and dryer there. This way we have more room in the bathroom (that's where it used to be before).

All the demolition is finished now. Yesterday my brothers-in-law, Maurice and Lucien, came to help. They loaded all the rubble on a trailer so we could take it to a dump site. It's amazing how much stuff will come out of a bathroom demolition!
