Back online

It's been a while since I've posted anything. We've been really busy with a lot of stuff lately. A while ago we went on a tour in a wind mill with the teenagers of our church. It was interesting to see how a wind mill works inside. And surprisingly, eventhough it wasn't video games or a movie, the kids liked it as well!

We've also been to the Red Bull Air Race 2008 in Rotterdam. It was great! Just take a look at the pics. Need I say more?

Normandie

We went to Normandie, France for a weekend. It was really nice to get out for the weekend, just the two of us. Normandie is an impressive area (because of the invasion during WWII) but it also has a beautiful landscape and very friendly, helpfull and sometimes even English speaking people! We had a great time.

Queensday 2008 Leiden

For Queensday we went to visit our friends Marcel and Judith in Leiden. Leiden is an old city, known for it's university amongst other things. I think the city has a really nice atmosphere, especially on Queensday when everyone is celebrating and there are all kinds of bands performing everywhere.

Rally

We are members of a motorcycle and automobile club based in Eindhoven. My sister-in-law Michelle and I form a team and we are quit fanatic when it comes to participating in the race every month and trying to win the competition. So far we have still managed to beat my father-in-law and brother-in-law :)
Here are some pictures of the meeting point before the race.

Kate

Our friends Caleb and Marlies have the cutest daughter ever, Kate. She has made frowning her face into a real art :)
Because Caleb, Marlies and Kate live in the USA we don't get to see them very often. However, when they come to visit family in the Netherlands we usually are included in their schedule also :)

Marlies and Kate came to see us in Febuary. I just came across these pictures.
