3D Ultrasound

Yesterday we got a 3D ultrasound. It was fun! Our little girl was fast asleep and had her arms and legs in front of her face. So they could only make pictures of part of her face. They tried to wake her up and get her to change position but she wouldn't have any of it. Still there are some nice pictures.

Apparently it's comfortable to hold your foot in your hand while sleeping...

Perfectly formed foot...

Good strong heartbeat...

Tessa

We visit Tessa quit often. She's just too cute and cuddly.

Teen camp

Last weekend there was teen camp to welcome the new teens and mark the beginning of a new season. Unfortunately I couldn't go and nobody thought of bringing a camera. But by the stories I've heard I can tell it was great.

The group was picked up at church and from there they went to the campsite in Germany. They went to a mine with a guide. And at night they had a hike. The next day they packed everything and came home again.

It's a region in Germany that has lots of forrests and hills and tracks. It is particularly popular with hikers and mountain bikers. Perfect to do a hike by night. The teens had to follow a trail of little lights and every once in a while do some assignments which got them very dirty.
When they got back at the campsite they could sit by the campfire till bedtime.
Too bad I had to miss it, I love campfires.

Ultrasound

Here's the pictures of the ultrasound. The first one is her face, she's looking right at the camera! The second picture is also her face but from the side.

Check up

Last Friday I had another check up and an ultrasound (I'll post some pictures later).
Everything is fine. I got the shot for rhesus. The baby is growing really well. She's about 1500 grams now. She's a busy little thing, moving and kicking all day long.
I still have 10 weeks to go, which in my mind will take ages. I can't wait to finally have her here with us.
